James graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 2008 with a first class degree and a nomination for the RIBA's Bronze Medal. He spent three years at Brian O’Reilly Architects and also undertook several volunteer projects, including an adventure playground with the Islington Play Association.
James joined Walters & Cohen in 2012 as part of the team for the Royal Greenwich UTC, and also undertook pro bono work for Rhyl Primary School, which is very close to our office. He left the practice to complete an MPhil in Environmental Design in Architecture at the University of Cambridge, using Rhyl School's new outdoor classroom as a case study in his thesis.
James returned in September 2013 to work on the Godolphin and Latymer sports building, which completed in 2015. He is currently working on the project at Twyford Abbey.
