Katie Hawgood
Architectural Assistant

Katie was born in Thailand and grew up in Japan before moving to Brisbane to study architecture at the University of Queensland. She completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees there, earning the Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement. During her studies Katie took part in an exchange to study in Berlin, and in her final year was selected to assist Dr Anupama Kundoo’s exhibit at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.

Following her degree, Katie worked for Marc&Co in Brisbane on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including a family home that won an award from the Australian Institute of Architects in 2015. Katie moved to the UK and joined Walters & Cohen in the summer of 2016 to work on residential accommodation for staff at St Paul’s School.
