Lieve was born in Belgium and studied architectural engineering at Vrije Universiteit in Brussels. During her MArch, she spent a semester at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and, after passing with a distinction, was a finalist in the 2011 Meesterproef Architectuur, an annual selection of the five most promising architecture graduates by the Flemish Government Architect. Throughout her studies Lieve worked at practices in Leuven and Brussels, including three summers at Architectenbureau Vanthournout and an internship at Architecture Workroom Brussels working on infographics for the book ‘Building for Brussels’.
Lieve moved to London in 2011 to undertake an MArch in Urban Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, which she passed with merit. In 2012 she joined Robert Dye Architects as an architectural assistant and worked on several residential projects. She completed her Part 3 with merit, also at the Bartlett, in 2014.
Lieve joined Walters & Cohen in autumn 2015 to work on Feltonfleet School and Newnham College, Cambridge.
