Brighton Girls: Highly Commended
Yesterday, Nichola and Kat headed to Brighton for the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards. There were 39 award winners and 21 highly commended projects: our refurbishment of Brighton Girls was highly commended in the Public and Community category. On visiting the project, the judges said,
“Very well executed project that respects the heritage of the existing building that created an inviting space to learn and study."
Kicking off in the precarious era of the first lockdown, the project didn’t get off to the best start, but thanks to Nichola and Kat’s ‘monster effort’ (Michál’s words), the school is delighted with the outcome and we’re very proud of it. Well done Michál, Nichola and Kat!
