Building Bridges with Regent High School
It’s lucky Filiz liked her old secondary school, because we keep sending her back there. For the second year running, she took part in Regent High School’s Employer Engagement Week.
She set Year 10 pupils the challenge to design and build bridges using pasta. Some bridges passed the structural integrity test better than others, but all of them were the result of great team work and pasta skills.
The school’s name has changed (back then it was South Camden Community School), and so have the buildings (oh hello, award-winning design), but Filiz is happy to see that some of her favourite teachers remain. And, hopefully, today’s pupils were just as inspired by her class.
