Competition Win: NLCS

In May 2016 Walters & Cohen was invited to participate in a design competition at North London Collegiate School (NLCS), an independent school for girls renowned for its academic excellence. We were thrilled to be chosen from the four shortlisted practices as their new architect and have started work on a masterplan for the school's extensive site.

NLCS has several ambitions for development in the coming years, but its priorities are to expand and improve art and music accommodation. Our initial ideas sensitively weave new facilities around the beautiful art building and provide views to the charming pond at the heart of the campus.

We are delighted to work with a forward-thinking school community that cares deeply about sustainability and providing a holistic education for its pupils.
