Lego Cities and Straw Bridges
We’ve had fun this month with two workshops:
Michál joined Godolphin & Latymer for their Lego City Design Day, where 900 young women collaborated on building challenges. Some of these were fast paced and competitive, but the afternoon was spent planning, problem-solving and designing a whole town out of Lego.
Meanwhile, at Wycombe Abbey School, one of our many projects from the masterplan is designing a bridge across the lake to the performing arts centre, so it seemed a good idea to pose the same challenge to 95 Year 9 pupils. Guided by Ariana, the groups built prototypes out of paper and straws, and explained the thoughts behind their designs. But do any look like ours? Watch this space to find out…
