Practical Completion at Mitchinson's Day House

The new day house at The King's School in Canterbury was officially handed over last Friday, looking glorious in the sunshine.

Located in a Grade II listed building at 16 St Radigunds*, the new day house replaces the old Mitchinson's in Mint Yard, which was no longer fit for purpose. For a finishing touch, bursar Mark Taylor reinstated the building's blue plaque.

*no, we don't know why the apostrophe is missing either.
