The Knot in the Bow Tie
The official opening of our building at Reigate Grammar School took place yesterday. Despite the threat of rain, it was a lovely ceremony and great to celebrate with the school community and all those involved in the project.
The Harrison Centre is home to a wonderful new two-storey library, several light and spacious classrooms, an innovation room and, on the ground floor, the sixth form centre, where pupils can socialise and study in an inspiring environment. The building unites the two parts of RGS's estate and has been called ‘the knot in the bow tie of the school’.
The ceremony, led by headmaster Shaun Fenton, included music from the pupils and a heartfelt speech from Sir Peter Harrison, whose generosity made the building possible.
