W&C Shortlisted for Green Templeton College Competition

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for new student accommodation at Green Templeton College, Oxford.

Green Templeton is Oxford’s newest graduate college, founded in 2008 following a merger of Green College and Templeton College. With almost 600 students from around the world, it has a friendly and informal community atmosphere. The College seeks to improve and increase its facilities with a new building comprising office and academic spaces, accommodation for senior visiting academics, and study bedrooms with kitchens, common rooms and associated facilities.

We are impressed by the College’s democratic, collaborative and hands-on approach to the competition; it was refreshing to read in the first briefing document that they recognise the contribution good clients make to good buildings.

Stanton Williams, Eric Parry, Haworth Tompkins, Feilden Fowles, Sergison Bates and Tim Ronalds are also on the shortlist.
