W&C Shortlisted for Two Female Frontier Awards

We are thrilled to be on the shortlist for two of the Female Frontier Awards run by World Architecture News:

Pioneering Award - in recognition of our approach to architecture and the ethos of the practice.

Cindy and Michál founded a female-led practice at a time when it was rare to do so. They’re happier it’s no longer unusual, and continue to mentor and support young talent.

Team of the Year - for the team who worked on Newnham College, Cambridge.

Cindy led the team, with Rob and Nichola sharing the project architect role. Many women were also involved in the design and construction, and made up the formidable client team led by Professor Dame Carol Black.

The shortlists feature a very impressive cast of talented female architects from around the world. Winners will be revealed in April.
