Work Experience 2023 - open for entries
We are offering up to 20 students from Y11-Y13 work experience from Monday 24 - Friday 28 July, 10am-5pm.
What to expect
The week kicks off with a walking tour of King’s Cross and St Pancras, introducing you to some impressive modern and historic buildings and spaces. You’ll also visit our office. For the rest of the week, you’ll work on a fun design project, learn basic drawing skills and what it means to be an architect. Apart from Monday’s tour, the work experience will be conducted on Teams and Zoom so you don’t have to be local to our office to join in.
A typical day will be:
10am - 12pm: quick chat with your architect mentor (4 students to each architect) followed by design time
12pm - 1pm: a lecture on sustainability, how to apply to uni, etc
1pm - 2pm: lunch break
2pm-5pm: more design time. On Friday you will share your ideas with your mentor and group
If you like the sound of that, email Marie at mail@waltersandcohen.com for an application form.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday 19 May.
