Jovan Manić-Smetanjuk
Jovan was born in Belgrade and studied at the Faculty of Architecture there, which included winter school programmes at Plymouth and Sheffield University. In 1998 he moved to Botswana and worked as an architectural technician in Gaborone, before coming to the UK in 2001. He studied at the University of Plymouth and graduated with a BA Hons in Architecture in 2006.
Jovan joined a practice in Hereford as an architectural assistant that year. In 2012, having inadvertently become the in-house technology expert, he had a change of direction and realised that his skills were well suited to office and IT management. Jovan remained at the practice and became responsible for the management of three companies in two locations.
Jovan moved to London and joined Walters & Cohen as an administrator in July 2018. He continues to calm IT-related panic, as well as managing social media, proofreading and assisting on competitions.
