Dr Lucy Keens

Lucy graduated from University College London with a BA in Icelandic in 2003, which included a year studying at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. In 2005 she completed an MA in Medieval Scandinavian and West Norse Studies, and in 2016 completed a PhD in euphemisms in Old Norse literature. Lucy has also worked as a freelance translator of modern Icelandic and taught Old Norse at UCL.

Lucy joined Walters & Cohen in 2006 as Ailsa's maternity leave cover and personal assistant to the directors. She stayed on, expanding her role to include managing the website, proofreading and producing submissions for architectural competitions. She was made an Associate in 2015.
